In 1996 The Danish Bibliographic Centre launched a project, InDoReg (Internet Document Registration) to clarify some fundamental questions concerning bibliographic control with Danish Internet Documents. It is focused on the following areas in particular: Inclusion criteria, registration method, metadata, PURL, and publication of registrations.

The project report Indoreg : Internet Document Registration was published in 1997.

In 1999 a follow up has been published: Indoreg 2: Registration of static and dynamic publications and electronic periodical articles in which experiences are presented, gained from the work with Internet publications during the latest years. In addition the report contains a complete separate part, dealing with the registration of electronic articles.

In the report we operate with 3 types of publications:

1. Static publications - corresponding to traditionally published books, pamphlets, reports, etc.
2. Dynamic publications - are ongoing like databases, homepages, etc.
3. Electronic periodical articles

The work described has accomplished that an increasing quantity of Internet publications relevant to libraries are included in the Danish National Bibliography.
